Kylie Jenner and longtime friend Tyga spent the day before Thanksgiving giving back to the community.

Sporting red aprons, the two served food at the Los Angeles Mission's annual afternoon holiday dinner for the homeless and other people in need, held near the charity's shelter, which is located near Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles. The event was also sponsored by the Anne Douglas Center. The black and blue-haired 17-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the rapper, a friend of the famous family, have been spending time together in recent weeks.

At the Wednesday event, they were photographed standing side by side and serving green beans and yams.

Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian had volunteered at the group's Thanksgiving event in 2011 (check out a pic).

"Had a great time this morning feeding the homeless with the @thelamisson #Thankful #ThankYouGodAlways," Tyga said on his Instagram page, alongside a photo showing him giving a thumbs up while wearing white gloves.

The same pic was posted on the Los Angeles Mission's Instagram page, with a message saying, "Thank you @kinggoldchains for popping down to help out. :)"

Kylie and Tyga have been spotted out together several times for more than a month and have even vacationed together in Europe, fueling dating rumors.

The rapper responded to the reports in late October, saying he has hung out with Kylie, sisters Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick, partner of sister Kourtney Kardashian, and that "people wanna take the situation [with Kylie] to the next level." She has not commented.

Kylie was also supposed to attend Tyga's 25th birthday party, held at a restaurant last week, but was a no-show, E! News had learned.
