Moving Day for Pamela Bach
Pamela Bach is heading over the hill.
David Hasselhoff's ex-wife agreed on Wednesday to vacate the San Fernando Valley home the couple used to share, in exchange for getting more time to prepare for an upcoming trial on her request for increased child and spousal support.
Bach must be out of the Encino manse by Oct. 1, the day the trial was originally scheduled to kick off. Instead, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark A. Juhas postponed the proceedings until Jan. 28.
While Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, who opposed the delay, didn't say where Bach would be living from now on, a source close to the erstwhile actress told a local wire service she might be headed to a residence in Bel-Air that the Hoff either owns or leases.
On Monday, Juhas gave Bach the option of moving into the pad where Hasselhoff has been living since the pair split and having the Baywatch star move back to the Encino home with their two daughters.
Hasselhoff was granted full legal custody and primary physical custody of 15-year-old Hayley and 17-year-old Taylor in June. Bach gets every other weekend and Wednesday dinners with the girls.
Bach requested a three-month postponement to give her accountant more time to examine Hasselhoff's financial records.
Goldsman said in court Monday that Bach was making unsubstantiated claims about the Hoff's money matters in order to bolster her case, including the accusation that he had a foreign bank account in which he was stashing cash.
The America's Got Talent judge filed for divorce in January 2006, and their split was finalized in July. In August 2006, each of the exes received $27,000 from their joint financial holdings to put toward "miscellaneous" expenses as they put their affairs in order, as well as $50,000 apiece to pay legal expenses and various other sums for their kids' school tuition, car lease payments, utilities and so on.
Then the former spouses reportedly agreed last November to keep the ins and outs of Hasselhoff's financial holdings under wraps while everything was sorted out.
